Intention
I offer an accessible and grounded vinyasa flow, where participants feel safe, supported and inspired to be more present with themselves. These classes often lean into dynamic sequencing and balancing postures, and are refined in real-time to support the evolving needs of the group.
When teaching, I will always encourage my students to honor their unique experience by breathing and moving in a way that feels good in their bodies. Offering opportunities for expansion, modifications and reminders for gentleness is an important part of how I hold space.
After more than a decade of teaching yoga to both adults and children — across the United States, as well as in Japan and India — I feel more committed than ever to fostering collective wellness and nurturing communities of care. With each class, I aim to rejuvenate the spirit of community by setting a tone that inspires a deeper connection to self and a greater appreciation for others.
Over the years, I’ve begun referring to this style of teaching as Nourishing Vinyasa. All of my classes are guided by the flow of movement with breath, with undertones of self love and collective wellness.
