Something you should know about us is that we LOVE a good sauce. And, we especially love a sauce that goes with just about everything. Dreamy Tahini Miso is that sauce. You’re welcome.
This combination of ingredients is a little more on the heating* side, so it will stoke digestive fire to help breakdown your food, which is a good thing! As we all know, it is SO important to aid digestion with every single meal because the ability to absorb and assimilate nutrients affects all other organs in the body.
*Just don’t overdo it on this sauce in the summer months. When it’s especially hot outside (or when you’re feeling especially hot), try to combine your Dreamy Tahini Miso with more cooling foods.
…why are we so into this sauce in particular?
It is super easy to make, it’s salty and tangy and generally flavorful. It also nutrient dense because of the miso, while offering a bit of protein from the tahini. Not to mention, it’s gluten free and vegan, so it easily supports just about everyone’s needs!
You will not be disappointed. It just might become one of your favorite go-to’s.
YOU WILL NEED:
A small jar
1 Tbs miso paste (I prefer a red because it generally undergoes a longer fermentation process)
3 Tbs warm/hot water
1/2 lemon
3 Tbs raw tahini
3 Tbs flax oil (or olive oil)
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp paprika
A pinch of salt
Pepper to taste
This recipe makes about 4 servings and will last in the fridge for about a week.
METHOD:
Combine miso and warm water in small jar, stir until miso dissolves
Add juice from lemon & tahini
Put on lid and shake
Mix in seasonings and
Add oil and shake once more
Enjoy in a quinoa bowl, with roasted vegetables, as a spread or dip.

For a more drizzly consistency, use your discretion to add more water or oil.
